| Take into consideration that these tips are just my observation. I am by no means a tactical maestro. I will continue adding posts to this thread from time to time.
One of my biggest pet peeves of playing Killing Floor is when a player runs out of ammo. I see countless players first spawn into a game and start blasting away with pistols. They dump an entire clip just to kill one specimen. Halfway through a wave and you hear that telltale "Oh no....I'm out of ammo!" It does not take much to right click....line up the specimen in your crosshairs and blast its head clean off its shoulders. One shot one kill...move on to the next. |

| Staying out in the open sucks. You are surrounded and way outnumbered. An easy target. Use a narrow entrance to bottleneck the specimens. They bunch up and sorta get stuck for a bit. That will give you enough time to thin out their numbers.
Always leave yourself a way out. You may become overwhelmed and have to cut and run. |

| Line of sight. That is the view looking straight down the barrel of your rifle/pistol. Anything in that line of sight is gonna get shot. Players that run around and do not maintain their position are usually getting shot just as much as the specimens. Unless "friendly fire" is active nothing happens except....the specimen targeted at the time does not get killed.....the player firing the shot wastes a round.
Friendly fire....really isn't. |

| Heal your teammates! Ideally, one of the six players on your team will be a medic. In the event your team is medic-less, don't be afraid to fill up a teammate's red bar. If there's a lull in the action or you're near a teammate that needs hp, shoot 'em up with drugs. We've all seen times when a player, or even a whole team gets wiped out because of this. Don't let it happen to you! | |
